The Knot Wedding Review

Saturday, December 4th, 2010
I had my wedding at Haiku Gardens July of this year, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this location. The wedding planner they have on site, Jennifer, went above and beyond the call of duty to make our wedding just as we wanted it. The cake turned out just like the photo I brought, the flowers were beautiful, and the photographer, LaMour, gave us so many great memories on film. The sun in the morning over Kaneohe is the most lovely setting, right next to the Koolau mountains, its so convenient having Haliewa Joe’s right next to the chapel. And did I mention the food? I got so many compliments from the guests about the food! Wedding planning was so easy with Haiku Gardens, I had no stress whatsoever. Mahalo to the great people there!

The Knot Wedding Review

My ceremony took place here in Sept 2010. The first time I saw Haiku Gardens, my breath was taken away. I planned our wedding from Washington DC, so you can imagine how nervous I was about not seeing anything until a few days before the ceremony, but the scenery and location are absolutely gorgeous and the Haiku Gardens event coordinator, Jennifer, made planning so easy and really put me at ease. She stayed in constant contact with me via phone and email and let me know if any changes or updates needed to be made. She maintained a positive attitude through it all and is just a really nice person. I cannot express how easy she made of all this for me! Since they do so many weddings, they’ve got the planning down perfect. I would very highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding! Oh, and I recommend you have the reception on site at Haleiwa Joes– fantastic food!! No complaints about the venue or the restaurant. The guests loved everything! Absolutely perfect! You feel like you are in your own little paradise!

Finding a location for a sweet, yet intimate Oahu wedding ceremony was a priority for bride Kyoko and groom Spencer. Haiku Gardens provided just that; serving as the setting for their gorgeous wedding and joyful wedding reception filled with dancing and happy guests! Kyoko’s elegant pastel color choices for her wedding provided for a simple, calm ceremony.

With help from her lovely bridesmaids, Kyoko transformed into a stunning bride!

A very energetic bridal party!

Lamour Photography was able to capture every priceless moment as Kyoko and Spencer strolled through Haiku Gardens.

Her bouquet was created by Su-V Expressions, a nice Plumeria mini Gerbera blend.

The wedding reception lunch started off with Haleiwa Joes Paradise Salad; Pupukea greens tossed in an orange-ginger vinaigrette with mandarin oranges & candied walnuts. Followed by Sun Dried Tomatoes & Pesto on Penne Pasta, Fresh Baked Fish with Capers & Herb Butter Drizzle, and Pulehu Beef Steak.

Congratulations to both of you!
